Economic Affairs Office
The Economic Unit is responsible for monitoring and reporting on key issues related to the health of the Cambodian economy, including economic trends and policies, investment, trade policy, labor, civil aviation, intellectual property rights, telecommunications, financial sector development, industrial development, and the environment. This information is provided for American Government and private sector use, as well as to assist American exporters and investors in Cambodia.
The Economic Unit offers a variety of services both to American businesses seeking investment and export opportunities in the country and to Cambodian businesses seeking to buy American goods and services. The section also supports visiting U.S. government delegations and maintains contact with a variety of Cambodian government agencies and civil society.
