Non-Immigration Visas (NIV)

Official and Diplomatic Travel

All diplomatic couriers delivering passports for official and diplomatic travel may drop off applications Monday to Thursday between 8:00 – 9:30 a.m.  U.S. consular officers will decide if the application is eligible to be submitted for a diplomatic or official visa.

Documentation should include a completed application form DS-156 for each applicant, filled out online at http://evisaforms.state.gov and printed on a laserjet printer, as well as an accompanying diplomatic note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.  All male applicants between the ages of 16-45 must fill out the supplemental nonimmigrant visa application form DS-157, available free of charge at the consular entrance or via website http://travel.state.gov. All photographs must be less than six months old. The official invitation letter should also be presented, if applicable.
