Passports

Please select your specific passport service from the menu at the left side of this page.

For Passport applications, fees and further information can be found at the U.S. Department of State website. Please remember that some procedures for passport applications abroad may vary according to the country in which the passport application is made.

When traveling, please remember to carry a photocopy of your passport separately from your passport. In the event of loss or theft, the copy will facilitate issuance of an emergency passport.

Please note that regularly issued passports include 32 visa pages. A 52-page passport is available on request for no extra charge. When you submit your passport application at the U.S. Embassy, just notify the consular officer of your request for a larger passport book.

Announcement: After December 31, 2015, the U.S. Department of State will discontinue the consular service of adding additional visa pages to U.S. passports. In an effort to lessen the burden that this new policy may pose to frequent travelers, the 52-page passport books are now routinely issued to all applicants applying at overseas posts at no extra cost. Renew your passport early to make sure you have enough blank pages for visa stamps from other countries. Some require two blank pages for entry and exit. Please visit travel.state.gov for more information on entry, exit, and foreign visa requirements.
