Public Diplomacy
Embassy Speakers Program
Through the Embassy Speakers Program, U.S. diplomats based in Phnom Penh are available to meet with groups around Cambodia to discuss topics ranging from American culture to American foreign policy. The program gives audiences a chance to hear first-hand about almost any U.S.-related topic, as well as to ask questions and exchange views.
Embassy speakers can share the U.S. perspective on a wide range of governmental, political, social or cultural subjects and issues, such as the U.S. legal system, education, volunteerism, history, arts and culture, tourism, media, food, sports, business, economy, military, cultural diversity, and religion. Our goal is to address topics you find interesting and important.
The range of audiences could include secondary and university student groups, community organizations, conferences, media, local governments, NGOs, cultural events and religious organizations.
Embassy speakers are available to travel to your location for 1-2 hour presentations. Group presentations can also be arranged at the Embassy. If you wish to invite a speaker to your event, kindly fill out the Speaker Request Form online, and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
